House Rules The following rules are to apply at all events occurring at Maceli’s banquet facility, 1031 New Hampshire. 1. Event hosts are responsible for their guests and are to be present during the event. Guests are subject to all policies and rules of Maceli’s. 2. Removal or destruction of any Maceli’s property shall be charged to the event host, who may be subject to further action by Maceli’s, Inc. 3. All activities or functions held at Maceli’s are by invitation only. “Open Invitation” or “open to the public” functions are not permitted without prior consent from Maceli’s. 4. Only invited guests who are 21 years of age or older are eligible to order, be served and consume alcoholic beverages at Maceli’s. 5. Liquor bottles are prohibited in all areas of Maceli’s, except for specific occasions authorized by Maceli’s or those in possession of a designated Maceli’s employee. 6. No outside catering is allowed without prior approval from Maceli’s. Maceli’s does allow wedding cakes to be brought in from an outside vendor but all other items must be approved in advance. 7. By law, alcoholic beverages are not allowed outside Maceli’s. 8. By law, smoking is prohibited throughout Maceli’s. 9. Party decorations and furniture arrangements must be coordinated in advance with Maceli’s staff. 10. Candles are not permitted unless they are enclosed to avoid a fire hazard or wax dripping onto tables and are approved by Maceli’s staff prior to event. Customer will be billed for wax damage. 11. No decorations may be hung on walls or from the ceilings or on the front of the building. Banners cannot be displayed unless they are accompanied by a free-standing display unit. 12. No tape or wire is allowed on railing in front of Maceli’s. 13. Rice, confetti, bubbles and similar items commonly used for receptions are not permitted. Only birdseed is permitted to be thrown on the Center’s outside grounds. 14. Nothing may be scattered (petals, etc.) on floors inside Maceli’s. 15. General cleanup will be provided by Maceli’s; however, the event host will be charged for any excessive cleanup required because of inappropriate conduct by a group. Maceli’s management will be the sole judge as to the appropriate charges in those cases. (Each incidence of vomit will require a $50 cleaning fee) 16. Areas for dancing include and are limited to Maceli’s Ballroom. 17. All deliveries must be made through back door. 18. Payment for services is due upon completion of events unless other arrangements have been made with and agreed to by Maceli’s management. 19. Maceli’s employees are not responsible for providing personal services (other than those defined by their jobs). 20. Items brought for events must be taken immediately following the event unless prior arrangements have been made. Any items left over 7 days will be disposed of by Maceli’s. This includes items belonging to third parties, such as cake toppers, boards, etc. 21. Lost or misplaced items are
not the responsibility of Maceli’s or Maceli’s management.
